The Founders

Joe & Denise Rice founded Blue Collar Restaurant Group in 1989 when they moved to Jackson Hole and acquired their first restaurant, The Merry Piglets. 

Since then, the Rice's have raised three daughters - each of whom fill large roles in the company. 

Joe & Denise set the tone for the company culture, and have years of success to show for it.

Executive Leadership

Our company is active in two markets: Jackson, WY and Bozeman, MT. The regional Presidents work together to ensure company-wide consistency in operational excellence.

Nicole Davis has spent her life working in restaurants. 

As Joe & Denise's eldest daughter, Nicole grew up in the business - spending countless hours learning the in's and out's of the industry. 

After graduating from the University of Wyoming, Nicole returned to Jackson Hole to contribute to her family's business. Nicole has a passion for restaurants that shines through her dedication to the team members and our guests. 

On any given day, you can find Nicole running from location to location, putting out fires and supporting her team. Years of experience and an intimate understanding of the company culture have secured her role as the leader of the Jackson Hole market. 

Nicole is married and has two daughters of her own. No doubt, they too will grow into the business and lead just like their Mom!

Bozeman, Montana

Blane Woodfin joined the company in 2013 as a restaurant manager in Jackson Hole. With experience from one of the nation's top restaurant chains, Blane brought a fresh perspective in evaluating the company's operational proficiencies. 

Since then, Blane has joined the family through his marriage to the Rice's second daughter, Ellie. Together, they moved to Bozeman, Montana to assist in the company's northern expansion. 

Today, Blane can be found working with the rapidly-expanding team in Bozeman. His focus on branding and concept development has been instrumental in the company's growth and advancement of corporate practices.

Blane is passionate about the leadership aspect of the restaurant business, always looking for new ways to empower his team and scale the company to new heights. And if you ever need a recommendation for where to get a good slice of pizza, he's your guy!
